NATIONAL PG & HG ORGANIZATIONS:
Among other things, the objectives of national paragliding and hang gliding organizations generally consist of the following:

1. Promote the development, progress and advancement of the
    paragliding and related sports.
2. Development and administration of pilot and instructor
    license/rating system.
3. Preservation and acquisition of flying sites.
4. Development and improvement of laws affecting paragliders and
    related sports.
5. Development and administration of national insurance programs.
6. Promote and coordintate safety standards and procedures.
