SIV Training over the water $875Sign up and Purchase a spot in one of our SIV Clinics SIV stands for Simulated Incident in Flight. After attending a SIV Maneuvers Clinic, most pilots have made remarks that an SIV clinic should be a mandatory course in obtaining a P3 Rating. Although that may be asking for a lot, a SIV clinic gives pilots a new awareness of their wing and how to handle events which are presented while flying in the wild. Participating in a SIV Clinic will increase a pilot’s confidence and open a new dimension of flying a paraglider.

We run these maneuvers clinics in house. There are only a handful of over the water clinics offered in the United States, and we are gaining a reputation for running high caliber clinics focused on safety and learning. We spared no expense investing in the equipment necessary to run these safety training clinics. We believe these clinics are an important part of becoming a pilot who is ready to deal with events while flying. These 3 day clinics will cover a wide variety of important academic and practical training. We're excited to help you with the very latest piloting techniques and up to date information. If you haven’t taken the time to do an over the water safety clinic you owe it to yourself to get the knowledge and feel required to handle your wing in all glider configurations. You will have more confidence and a new relation with your glider after the clinic. We are the only school on the south coast with a state of the art boat and hydraulic winch to tow paragliders for SIV Training. These over the water clinics give pilots an opportunity to become acquainted with the flight characteristics of their paragliders. We guide pilots under radio supervision through a progressive set of maneuvers to build their understanding and confidence in handling the paraglider. Pilots come away from these clinics with a new appreciation for the gliders ability to correct itself, and the ability to give the right amount of control at the right time when it becomes necessary. After a handful of SIV clinics and a fair amount of logged free flying hours pilots can begin to work on paragliding acro. Under the guidance of some of the best maneuvers coaching in the industry we help pilots understand glider dynamics, and work with them on the techniques involved with successfully executing a variety of aerobatic maneuvers on the paraglider. Their are acro competitions held all over the world and some of the top pilots visit us at the lake for their training.
